Leslie in the news!

When I went to conferences, I saw that Miss. McCuen had a newspaper article from November 2nd out of The Valley News Today. It had two nice pictures of Leslie! I went to see if I could get a back copy, but they did not have anything prior to the fire that destroyed their office. I went to the Library and they let me take it to The Paper Trail to get a color copy!
I like the way she is getting ready to make a basket! She is also in the one below cheering with her finger in the air.

Leslie's conferences.

Leslie had her conferences yesterday! We are such proud parents! Reading, fluency, comprehension etc. was well above average, as well as her math scores! Her story writing is so detailed. Evidently she has been asking to stay in some recesses so she can write more! haha. I had no idea. I still can't get over the things they are learning about in kindergarten these days.

I was also made aware that there is a little boy that has a big crush on Leslie. Every time he writes stories he writes about Leslie. His parents came to conferences just before I did. They asked Miss. McCuen who this Leslie was that Matthew keeps writing about. How silly.

I guess this is what happens when I am not around. Leslie evidently made a cage around Lucy.

Fun with Grandpa!

Leslie so enjoys Grandpa Kevin coming over so she can torment him. She likes to sit on his back and punch him and wrestle around. I always tell her to be careful, but Grandma says it's okay.

Our furnace gave out! Dan and Jacque took us in for a night! We all had a good time. Isaac likes to try and explain things to Danica. Sometimes he gets frustrated with her babble as he raises his voice, shakes his head and points his finger at her.
